A gifted teenager from birth, Akabane Karma is a highly intelligent boy who could not be matched in a physical brawl with his peers. He is described as handsome by the girls in his class, and is talented in the art of trickery and pranks. His natural gift at everything he does led to his arrogance and tendency to look down on others.

After he was betrayed by a teacher he had placed his trust on, Karma lost all belief in teachers. He became rebellious, violent, even got himself suspended from school for assault.

A prideful, aggressive, and stubborn teenage boy, most adults would think he was beyond counseling or any form of help. It was not until he met his new teacher in the assassination classroom did the lessons of his mentor began to make its mark.

Karma has learned to be humble, never looking down on others, but rather, as equals to be recognized. He has learned the value of respect, modesty, and grew to sympathize with his peers. His aggressive tendencies have been quelled, and his talents are now used to help others rather than to serve his own selfish agendas. He participates in class events with unmatched energy and contributes his intelligence as the strategist of his class, helping them overcome any obstacles together. Above all, his cheeky smirks hide the love he has for his new found friends and teachers, treasuring every moment he has with them.

The delinquent young boy he once was has now become a humble, kind, and strong young man.

Even if he is just as mischievous as before, Karma has undoubtedly grown to become a better person who is now more ready than ever to take on the world before him.
